Condition: Very good pre-owned vintage condition. A few very minor chips in flower baskets and some loss of porcelain lace at front of bodice. Tiny chip on toe of shoe. Please see photos.
Details: This figurine depicts a young lady dressed in a black bodice with long white sleeves and lace at the decollete, a gold-figured lavender skirt, and pale green shawl. She carries a large basket of flowers on each arm. The baskets are white porcelain with gold handles, and are filled with a profusion of hand formed porcelain flowers of various types and colors throughout light green foliage. She has pale gray hair in a 17th century style adorned on one side with tiny purple flowers and light green leaf. Marked by hand in red on bottom of figurine "L Fabris Italy" as well as an anchor. Luigi Fabris was an early 20th C sculptor & ceramicist. He studied in Venice.
